Native American culture

The Native American culture is a very interesting one. One thing that they do to express their culture is they express them in myths. My favorite myth that we read was The World on a Turtle's Back. This story is and Iroquois creation story. The way that the story was written was very interesting to me. In ways it was similar to our creation story for example a man and a women living on earth together. Also in the middle of the universe, there was the Great Tree that had grown there forever. That is similar to the tree of good and evil in the Bible because no one was to touch the Great tree as no one was to eat off the tree of good and evil. It is also interesting the way they describe how the world came to be and how they world was actually grown on a turtle's back. All of this is just very interesting to me and I learned a lot about the Native American Culture.
